Samsung TL225 Digital Camera

by admin on Jan.23, 2010, under Misc.

How many times have you turned your digital camera around to take a picture of you and a friend only to have that picture be of your forehead, or missed completely and out of focus?  Samsung has the answer to all your bad self pictures!  The Samsung TL225 digital camera has dual LCD screens.  The traditional behind the camera screen and a smaller LCD screen on the front of the camera.  Now you can actually give up guessing when you turn your camera around and make some great memories.  While the front LCD screen helps with self pictures, the rear LCD panel is a touch screen which helps keep you organized with simple navigation.  The touch screen also helps with Samsung’s Smart Auto Feature.  With a push of an on-screen menu button, your camera is optimized for the setting you select.   With 12.2 megapixels and the ability to record High Definition Video, the Samsung TL225 provides everything you need in a neat, compact, stylish camera.  As there are far too many features to mention here, you have to visit www.samsung.com!

Casio® Exilim Verizon Wireless Phone

by admin on Nov.28, 2009, under Cell Phones

exilim-sinkWhen it comes to Verizon Wireless phones, check out the Casio® Exilim.  I’m having a hard time figuring out if this is a fully functioning camera with a built-in phone, or a fully functioning phone with a built-in camera.  The phone features built in VZ NavigatorSM and V Cast Music with Rhapsody.  Most camera phones take low resolution photos that at best can be used as part of a picture message.  The Casio EXILIM has a built in 5.1 megapixel camera that gives you incredible pictures or video.  Again, I don’t know whether to promote all the phone features or all the camera features.  It was nice the other day on the beach to have this phone and not have to sacrifice any picture quality when I was taking family photos.  This is not only a Back to School gadget, but the perfect gadget for any occasion.  Check out the Verizon Wireless Network Extender on-line at www.verizonwireless.com/networkextender and see all the phone features or the camera features for the Casio Exilim at www.casioexilimmobile.com.

Casio Exilim EX-FC100 Digital Camera

by admin on Sep.21, 2009, under Misc.

EX-FC100_WE_ff

To help with my column, “Destination New England”, I reached out to my friends at Casio.  The Casio Exilim EX-FC100 digital camera is a light weight, high speed 9.1 mega pixels compact camera.  So you never miss the perfect shot, the Exilim can snap up to 30 frames in one second.  This feature is perfect when you are trying to get that one shot.  The camera actually starts recording prior to you hitting the shutter button.  While most cameras are trying to focus, the Casio Exilim EX-FC100 is already taking pictures.  Then you choose which frame is the best shot!  Also the Casio Exilim has a CMOS Sensor which is typically found in higher end digital SLR cameras.  The best feature is the size; I can slide this camera in a side pocket of my golf bag, and have it ready to go for that big shot or incredible New England scenery.  Another nice feature is the 30 frames per second video recorder.  You can record in standard or high definition video!  Have a friend take a video of your swing on the tee, fairway or anywhere on the course so you can analyze it after a round.  To see the entire Exilim line from Casio, please visit exilim.casio.com.

Casio EX-F1 Digital Camera

by admin on Mar.03, 2009, under Audio/Video

ex-f1_ff_flashI was at my nephew’s last football game taking videos. The cool thing was I was using a digital camer, the Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 is far more than a digital camera. How many times have you taken a picture and had to retake the picture because someone blinked, moved or did something else that just ruined that one picture? The Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 has a burst mode that takes up to 60 frames per second. So as you are getting ready to snap the picture, the EX-F1 is already recording the frames surrounding the shot. So when reviewing your picture, just scroll back a few frames and there is the picture with everyone’s eyes wide open. In addition to the burst feature, the Casio EX-F1 can take High Definition Video. You chose between standard 6-megapixel digital photos or recording HD video. There is no need to carry around a camcorder and digital camera any longer. The Casio EX-F1 gives you everything you need in one compact camera. Just a warning if you are going to use the 12x zoom, you may want to make sure you have a tripod. Although the Casion EX-F1 has some image stabilization, it is very difficult to keep a steady hand at 12x zoom. The HD video looked awesome and together with the Pinnacle Studio Pro editing software I was able to make a great DVD that stood up to my 60 inch HDTV. For all the technical specs visit Casio on-line at www.casio.com/products/Cameras/.
