With all the products out there, sometimes the best thing to do is to go back to the basics.  Tom Watson has a great 2-disc DVD set called, “Lessons of a Lifetime”.   Disc One focuses on the basics.  Tom starts with something he learned when he was 6 years old, how to grip a golf club.  If you have the basic fundamentals, you can improve your game!  Disc One includes lessons on grip, setup, aim and even the low handicappers might just learn something from this disc.  You have probably all seen replays of one the greatest short players in the game.  Tom focuses on the short game on Disc Two!  Together there is almost three hours of instructional videos on this two disc set.  I’m not one to give away great endings to movies, however there is a fitting tribute which is a must see as well.  Just think of how valuable sitting and listening to Tom Watson would be for almost three hours.  The lessons are easy to follow and I’m pretty certain every level of golfer will learn something from Tom Watson, “Lesson of a Lifetime”.  To view sample videos, or to purchase this video, visit www.tomwatson.com.

The Eye-Fi is one of the best gadgets for your digital camera.  Simply put, the Eye-Fi is a wireless SD memory card.  That’s right, a wireless memory card.  You can upload your pictures directly from your digital camera to your computer and even Facebook or any other social media sites.  You can also geotag your photos which will automatically tag where the picture was taken.  This was so easy to set-up; I was uploading pictures to my computer and social media sites within minutes.  You can pick up to 35 wi-fi networks on a single card.  You could program in work, home, parent’s house anywhere that there is a wireless network.  You can also choose “hot spots” to connect to upload your photos.  Available in both 4GB and 8GB, or the Eye-Fi can be virtually endless memory if you chose the Explore/X2 version.  You have to see this for yourself at www.eye.fi!

One of the staples of summer fun is a barbecue!  The first gadget for a great barbecue has to be your grill.  The Master Forge Four-Burner Split-LTD Gas Grill is the grill that will give you everything you need for a great BBQ.  Available at Lowes, this Master Forge Grill has opened an entirely new area of grilling for me.  Like any guy, I proclaim my deck and grill to be “man land”.  What makes this Master Forge grill unique is the 13,000 BTU Sear Burner.  Searing food browns the surface over intense heat that will open up new flavors to you BBQ.  I’ll be the first to admit I had no idea what to do with the sear burner, but after the first steak on the grill, I was sold.  The main cooking area is 535 sq. inches which gives you plenty of area to cook burgers, dogs, steaks or whatever is on the menu.  There is also a side burner for cooking up some beans or anything else you like.
